Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Topic: The Role of the OT in CAT Assessment. This session will review all criteria as per the OCF19, in which OTs are an important part of the assessment team. 

Participants of this session will: 

• refresh their knowledge on each criterion for Catastrophic designation
• learn how to analyze what criterion on which the client may apply 
• identify red flags when reviewing medical records
• learn how to develop assessment tools and activities for each criterion
• learn what to include in an OT CAT assessment report

During this conference, occupational therapists (OTs) from across the province will virtually gather to learn, share, network, and experience the OSOT community. This program offers rich opportunity to reflect on the growth, evolution and continuous innovation that the OT profession has embraced over the past 100 years.
