Cambodian Legal Education for Women (CLEW)

CLEW believes that education is the key to promoting fundamental and lasting improvement for women and children in Cambodia. A significant benefit of providing legal education to young women is that it helps them and their families escape the cycle of poverty. Bogoroch & Associates LLP was pleased to sponsor the CLEW’s Annual Golf Classic.

CANFAR ’s AIDSBeat

The Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR)’s AIDSbeat is an annual event organized to raise money for AIDS and HIV research.

Chinese Artists Society of Toronto (CAST)

Bogoroch & Associates LLP was pleased to attend the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto and Popular Music Club’s annual charity gala this year benefiting the CareFirst Foundation.

Camp Kadimah

Bogoroch & Associates LLP has proudly donated to a scholarship fund which provides children with the opportunity to enjoy an overnight summer camp experience at Camp Kadimah. The camp’s mission is to provide a safe, caring community that fosters knowledge, skills and leadership in a fun and spirited environment.

Canadian Red Cross

Through the Red Cross, we have provided financial assistance to the victims of natural disasters, including the tsunami in South Asia, the fires of Fort McMurray, the earthquake in Kathmandu, Nepal, Hurricane Katrina in the United States, and the earthquake in Central Italy. We have also donated to the Red Cross’ medical research efforts.

Daily Bread Food Bank

The Daily Bread Food Bank is a non-profit organization fighting to end hunger in our communities. Daily Bread serves these people through neighborhood food banks and meal programs in over 170 member agencies.

Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning

Bogoroch & Associates LLP has been a major supporter of the annual Law Clerk Diploma Program at Humber for numerous years, and currently funds two annual awards of $1000 to be presented each year. The two awards are designed to recognize students who have achieved high academic standing in the first and second/graduating years of the Humber Law Clerk Diploma program.

Lawyers Feed The Hungry

We were honoured to volunteer with Toronto's Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program.

In effort to help fight hunger in our community, we were pleased to donate and serve over 260 people.

Make-a-Wish Canada

The mission of Make-A-Wish® Canada is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Bogoroch & Associates LLP recently donated $10,000 in our client’s honour to this deserving charity.

McGill’s Faculty of Law

The Richard M. Bogoroch and Bogoroch & Associates LLP Entrance Scholarship is a $100,000 scholarship that supports an outstanding student entering the BCL/JD program at the Faculty of Law at McGill University.

The North Toronto Soccer Club (NTSC) was established in 1980 and was incorporated as a not-for-profit, community-based organization in 1999. The club provides soccer programs to more than 5,200 children and youths and 200 young adults in the North Toronto community.

Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA)

The Ontario Brain Injury Association enhances the lives of Ontarians living with the effects of acquired brain injury (ABI) through education, awareness and support. In June 2008, Bogoroch & Associates LLP was honoured to be the recipient of the OBIA Legal Fellowship Award, presented to those legal firms that have over the years made a significant contribution to the development of services that are available to those living with the effects of acquired brain injury.

Osgoode Hall Law School

The Bogoroch & Associates Renewable Entrance Award at $200,000 is one of the most prestigious at Osgoode Hall Law School and we are proud to continue our commitment to supporting legal education.

Queen's University Faculty of Law

Bogoroch & Associates LLP is proud to support the Faculty of Law at Queen’s University by way of a $200,000 donation to Queen’s Legal Aid (QLA). This significant gift provides much-needed support to assist the highly sought-after clinic in maintaining its current level of service.

Queen’s Law Cancer Society

The Queen’s Law Cancer Society is a law student volunteer organization that raises money through donations and sponsorship every year for the Canadian Cancer Society. We are the platinum sponsors for the organization’s annual charity event, Cabaret for the Cure.

Reena Foundation

For over 40 years Reena has been improving the lives of those with developmental disabilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values. Reena meets the diverse needs of children, youth and adults by offering a wide range of programs that promote dignity, independence and personal growth.

S.E.A.S. (Support Enhance Access Service) Foundation

Bogoroch & Associates LLP has been a platinum sponsor of the S.E.A.S. Centre (Support Enhance Access Service) annual fundraiser in the last two years. S.E.A.S. is a not-for-profit social service agency promoting individual well-being, enhancing family harmony, and encouraging community involvement in all walks of life through diverse programs, volunteer opportunities and community activities.

SOSCA Somali Week

The SOSCA Somali National Week Tournament enables the Somali Canadian Community in Toronto and around the world to come together in the spirit of sportsmanship and cultural festivity during an annual two-week long event. We are pleased to have supported this event as one of the headline sponsors in the last two years.

Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (formerly CPA)

Bogoroch & Associates LLP has sponsored the Ontario branch of the Canadian Paraplegic Association’s Wheelchair Relay and supports Spinal Cord Injury Ontario in a variety of other ways.

The Dragon Ball is the annual benefit gala for Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation. The funds raised will support the highest quality culturally appropriate care and services provided by Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care to seniors of different backgrounds in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
