Bessmah Hamed joined Bogoroch & Associates LLP as an Articling Student in July 2017.
Bessmah graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, earning her Juris Doctor in 2017. During her time at Osgoode Hall, Bessmah developed an interest in litigation and advocacy by working at the Osgoode Mediation Clinic and neighbouring Toronto courthouses. She represented Osgoode at the Arnup Cup, an Ontario-wide trial advocacy moot, winning 1st place and advancing to the national Sopinka Cup. She also participated at the International Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition in Chicago in 2016 and in Scotland in 2017, winning the 1st place prize for her role as an advocate. While at Osgoode, she was engaged in student affairs through Student Caucus, Faculty Council, as well as the International Legal Partnership Executive. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Art and Science of Trial Advocacy Prize.
Bessmah is currently a member of The Advocates’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association.
