As 2009 draws to a close, Bogoroch & Associates would like to extend to our many clients, colleagues and friends our best wishes for a happy holiday season and a healthy, joyous and safe New Year.

At this time of the year, we're also pleased to reflect on the many positive results achieved on behalf of our clients over the past 12 months. We've successfully resolved numerous disputes between our clients and their own insurers as well as the parties responsible for their injuries.

Of particular note was the landmark statutory accident benefits settlement – one of the largest ever in Ontario – we achieved for a young man in the Toronto area who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident. We're heartened that this young man and his family and many more of our clients are entering the holiday season with great peace of mind because of the successful resolution of their cases.

In keeping with its commitment to contribute to the well-being of the community, in 2009 Bogoroch & Associates continued to enhance its charitable giving program. As well, the firm renewed and increased to $100,000 its gift for an entrance award to Osgoode Hall Law School. Richard Bogoroch recognizes that there are many brilliant and eager minds who would be tremendous additions to the legal profession and would greatly contribute but for the financial constraints of tuition. It is his wish to give back, in appreciation of all that being a lawyer has meant to him.

It's important to pause and reflect on the year that is coming to an end, before looking forward with optimism. Bogoroch & Associates is honoured to be able to help those less fortunate and we're committed to continuing to make financial donations and volunteer our time to improve the lives of others.
