Richard graduated from McGill University Law School with a B.C.L. in 1978 and a L.L.B. in 1979. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1980 and called to the Ontario Bar in 1983. He has also completed the Harvard Mediation Workshop sponsored by The Advocates’ Society.

Richard is a past Director of the Ontario Centre for Advocacy Training, a past Director of The Advocates’ Society and a past Chairman of the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario Provincial Committee on the Judiciary. He is also a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto, The American Association for Justice, The American Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Richard has lectured and written extensively on many aspects of personal injury litigation for Continuing Legal Education Programs organized by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, The Advocates’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario, the Canadian Institute, and others. He has also been an instructor in Civil Procedure, Charter of Rights and Administrative Law for the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Bar Admission Course and Osgoode Hall Law School’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop. Since 1984, he has chaired, co-chaired and/or spoken at hundreds of continuing education programmes focused on various aspects of personal injury litigation, brain injury litigation, medical malpractice and chronic pain litigation.

In 2015, Richard was honoured by the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association with the Dean Edgell Award for his significant contribution and excellence in legal writing, continuing legal education, and leadership activities.

Heidi R. Brown was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993.

She practised for seven years as counsel to the Children’s Lawyer, Ministry of the Attorney General for the Province of Ontario. She has considerable experience representing the legal interests of children and advocating on their behalf.

Heidi has experience in Personal Injury, Estate Litigation and Family Law and has presented at personal injury and related programs and conferences organized by The Advocates’ Society, by Osgoode Hall and by the Thunder Bay Law Association, among others.

Since joining Bogoroch & Associates LLP in November of 1999, Heidi has exclusively practiced personal injury litigation and has handled motor vehicle accident cases, medical malpractice cases, long-term disability claims and product liability cases.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Heidi is a member of The Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Women’s Law Association of Ontario. In addition to her legal pursuits, Heidi devotes her spare time to volunteering for non-profit charitable organizations in the community, with a particular emphasis on children’s charities.

Yoni Joanna Silberman joined Bogoroch & Associates in April 2009.

Yoni received a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario in 2005. She then attended Osgoode Hall Law School, obtaining her Bachelor of Laws in 2008.

Since joining Bogoroch & Associates LLP, Yoni’s practice has been devoted to personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accident cases, accident benefits claims, slip and fall cases, long-term disability claims, and other disability and insurance litigation.

In addition to her academic and legal pursuits, Yoni devotes her spare time to volunteering for non-profit organizations in the community. She is an active member of the Canadian Hadassah WIZO, a philanthropic organization that funds a multitude of programs and projects for children, healthcare and women in Canada and abroad.

Anthea received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2011. Anthea later attended Osgoode Hall Law School, obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2014. While at Osgoode, Anthea was awarded the Shin Doi & Benda Prize for Legal Drafting.
