Dedicated to improving the lives of injured victims and their families
Bogoroch & Associates LLP is a boutique law firm where individual talent makes a noticeable contribution. Not only do we provide students with a sophisticated legal experience, but we also offer a warm and inviting environment with room to grow.
The articling program will offer extensive hands-on litigation experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury. Students will be guided by top professionals and will be given feedback on their performance during their time spent at Bogoroch & Associates LLP. They are taught how to stretch their legal minds, shown how to make a difference in a client’s life, and will be able to see the end result of something they started.
This articling position provides the opportunity to gain experience in preparing for mediations, hearings, arbitrations, examinations for discovery, and trials. Articling students will be called upon to draft documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, pre-trial conference briefs, mediation summaries and research memoranda. They can expect to be actively involved in cases, to engage with clients, and to accompany lawyers to mediations, hearings and trials.
Our articling program is focused on active student participation. As such, students are given a great deal of responsibility early on in their careers. We work with our articling students to help them gain the experience they want and need to develop.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We look for well-spoken, confident students with promise to develop into superior litigators and advocates. Excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive under pressure, are some of the qualities one must possess in order to grow with our firm. We are a dynamic law firm committed to training students to become exceptional lawyers.
Bogoroch & Associates LLP typically hires two articling students per year.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Beyond a great experience, Bogoroch & Associates LLP offers articling students compensation that is competitive with that received by students at mid-sized or large Toronto firms. Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation, an extended healthcare plan, a dental plan, life insurance and a subsidized fitness club membership. We also pay articling students’ Licensing Process fees.
