
Tripta S. Chandler
Tripta S. Chandler was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001. She is a graduate of McGill University Law School, where she earned her Bachelor of Common Law as well as her Bachelor of Civil Law. Ms. Chandler completed her articles with a boutique litigation firm in Toronto.
Ms. Chandler joined Bogoroch & Associates in March, 2001 and practices in the areas of Plaintiffs personal injury, long-term disability and medical malpractice litigation. Since joining the firm, she has successfully represented her clients at trials, mediations and hearings before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Canada Pension Plan Appeals Tribunal. Ms. Chandler is currently involved as Plaintiffs counsel in two actions arising out of the 2003 SARS outbreak in Toronto.
In addition to maintaining a busy Plaintiffs personal injury practice, Ms. Chandler continues to be active within both the legal community and the South Asian community. Ms. Chandler is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, the Womens Law Association and the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Chandler is also a member of the Board of Directors of AWIC Community and Social Services, a South Asian womens group which provides settlement services to recent immigrants.
Ms. Chandler has co-authored a number of articles, including a Lawyers Weekly article dealing with Bill 198 and the changes to the Insurance Act, as well as articles dealing with topics such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia and the thin-skull rule.
